- Working with a 20 metre height limit we generally optimised development density by building up street frontages, in the process opening up the central area as a semi private landscape area for the new residents.
Curved corner apartments echo the strong curve of the Seidler edifice near by and signify a friendlier residential enclave in an otherwise dominant commercial and government office precinct.
Precast facades provide a strong layered appearance for the apartment building with the combination of rectilinear and curved forms. Metal railings and green garden walls distinguish the housing group at street level.
Solar access, privacy, outlook and a degree of built in adaptability, together with a combination of private and public streetscape produce a small new residential precinct with the opportunity for a small corner shop and cafe.
