Description

This boutique residential project in located in Port Macquarie’s ‘East Port’ neighbourhood and sees the creation of four full floor luxury apartments with vistas of Oxley Beach to the east. The site sits within an area currently undergoing a transformation into dynamic coastal community as Port Macquarie continues to appeal to sea-changers.Materials and textures are light; referencing the coastal context of the proposal. Warmer tones and tertiary colours featured in soffits, blinds and screens add depth and dimension to the design. Balconies are deep and sheltered offering a comfortable place to sit and extending living areas into the landscape.

 

The landscape design [Harris Hobbs] has been created to maximise indoor-outdoor living and provide amenity to both the residents and neighbours. Coastal, native species have been included in the design to be responsive to place, create contextual fit and ensure the species are able to flourish given the potentially harsh coastal conditions.
