Description
Woden is rapidly evolving into a lively and dense urban neighbourhood. With a new light rail stage on the horizon, Woden will be connected to Canberra City and Gungahlin, encouraging public transport use through transit oriented development.The Melrose is a multi-residential project and one of four buildings in our master plan to transform a city block into a dense, mixed use precinct.In a distinct street corner position adjacent Melrose Drive, the design features a textured brick podium with a residents pool and cabana bordered by a garden wall.
The top of the podium includes a communal terrace which forms an outdoor living room for the building community. Communal gym and BBQ on Level 10 provides an opportunity for everyone to experience the views of the Brindabellas to the south and the Canberra landscape.Stewart Architecture is pleased to be working with DOMA on this landmark precinct which contributes significantly to the transformation of Woden as a more connected urban neighbourhood.
